Tenure Track Position in Behavioral Science
Indiana University School of Medicine is the country’s second largest allopathic medical school and is internationally recognized for excellence in research and teaching. The school’s Department of Public Health and CEPH accredited MPH Program is recruiting a behavioral scientist to teach public health courses, advise students, conduct research and engage in professional service. The faculty rank for this position will be at the Associate or Assistant Professor level.
Applicants should have a research track record and interests in one or more of the following areas: chronic disease prevention, health promotion, health behavior research, or quality of life.
The successful candidate will have:
- a doctorate in public health with an emphasis on health promotion, or a doctorate in behavioral science, anthropology, clinical or social psychology, sociology or related field
- a developing or active program of research in behavioral aspects of chronic disease, health promotion, or cancer prevention and control
- teaching experience or strong interest in teaching
- contributions to the scientific literature.
